Troop 1 will be camping at Lake Summit the weekend of August 20-22, 2021. Scouts will have the opportunity to work on rank and merit badge advancement while spending a great day on the water.

A full night of scouting! A Troop 1 “Culinary Team” special dinner will be served. Scouts can earn the horsemanship merit badge on Saturday.

Paddling the Black Water
September 11-13, 2020
Our September camping trip will take us to the Edisto River near Branchville, SC where Troop1 scouts will be paddling the black water of the mighty Edisto River Trail.
Face coverings are required.
Lake Summit Day Trip
August 29, 2020
Walter Montgomery and his family have agreed to have us up to their house where we will spend the day on the lake.
Spring Camping and Hiking
March 13-15, 2020
Troop 1 is headed to the Shining Rock wilderness. This is a great area for hiking and backpacking. We’ll be camping at Graveyard Fields.
