Linville Gorge Climbing Weekend

Get ready to climb! Troop 1 is heading to the stunning Linville Gorge, where Rock Dimensions of Boone, NC will guide Scouts through the Climbing Merit Badge with hands-on instruction, real rock climbing, and rappelling in the North Carolina mountains.
April 17-19, 2026
A full weekend of scouting for Pack 1 and Troop 1! A Troop 1 Culinary Team special dinner will be served at 6:00 pm, and a Court of Honor will follow. The Crossover Ceremony will begin at dusk.
Troop 1 is headed to the Shining Rock wilderness area the weekend of March 27-29 for a trip like we have never done before!
Troop 1 is ready to return to New Shirmer at Camp Ho Non Wah on Wadmalaw Island!

We have all come to value the time we spend on this special Sunday in February as our troop and pack composed of many faiths and beliefs will gather as one to demonstrate the 12th Point of the Scout Law.
