Troop 1 will be taking to the rails November 11-13, 2016. We will be participating in the BSA Rail Camp sponsored by the North Carolina Transportation Museum in Spencer, NC.

Rock climbing and rappelling
Troop 1 will be taking to the rocks October 14 – 16, 2016. Rock Dimensions will guide scouts through the attainment of the climbing merit badge in the beautiful North Carolina Mountains.
Hot Springs and the AT
Troop 1 is headed to the Hot Springs area in North Carolina for an early fall backpacking trip on the Appalachian Trail.

Lake Summit 2016
Super Summer Trip!
Troop 1 is headed to the mountains of Virginia and Tennessee for our first ever Super Summer Trip where we will bike the mighty Virginia Creeper Rail Trail for 50 miles and then head to Bluff City, Tennessee for spelunking in the privately owned Worley’s Cave! You will not want to miss this summer spectacular.
Lake Moultrie Camping and Motor Boating
The traditional and always popular Troop 1 Lake Moultrie to Charleston Boat ride is on for the weekend of April 30 – May 1, 2016. We will return to the waterways of Lake Moultrie and the Cooper River camping at Givens Ferry State Park on the banks of the Edisto River.
