Ski Trip 2009Troop 1 will once again take on the challenge of conquering on skis, snowboards, skates, and foot the mountains around Boone, NC. Most all will be arranged for you, as this is a reward of sorts for all of you have accomplished thus far this scouting year. We will be sleeping indoors in beds, have actual indoor plumbing, and not have to cook at all! We will start the weekend off with a “Midnight Blast” skiing and snowboarding at Appalachian Ski Mountain Friday night and then move to Beech Mountain Saturday for skiing and snowboarding from noon through the night session Saturday. To finish off the weekend…..we are going skating at Sugar Mountain on Sunday before heading home. It will be a real blast, don’t miss it!
