Hello from the land of rising and falling waters! We’ve been a little wet, but we are having a great time. Troop 1 and Troop 2 started the day with a joint worship service before heading down I-26 for a 72-scout lunch at Rush’s in Lexington.
We arrived on Wadmalaw Island around 2pm and quickly made our way through the health center and into “our” New Shirmer campsite.
We had to get settled into our tents and Adirondaks amidst a pretty big storm, but we persevered and made the campsite feel like home once again. The power to the camp went out about 10 minutes before supper, so we all enjoyed a meal in the relative dark of the dining hall.
