Fort named Eagle Scout
Caleb Coker Fort, 14, son of Caleb and Delie Fort of Spartanburg, recently achieved the rank of Eagle Scout.
He is a member of the Episcopal Church of the Advent Scout Troop No. 1. Fort is a student at Woodberry Forest School, where he is a member of the football and wrestling teams. He is a member of the Episcopal Church of the Advent, where he is a member of the youth group and participated in a mission trip to New Orleans. For his Eagle Scout project, he and the volunteers he enlisted landscaped the new entrance to the Cottonwood Trail off Woodburn Road.
