Eagle Scout: August 11, 2015
Alexander Myles Freedman is the son of Arthur and Mary Freedman of Spartanburg. He earned the rank of Eagle Scout on August 11, 2015. At Spartanburg Day School, he ran cross country and track, played tenor saxophone in the band, and founded the Chess Club. He was also a member of the Interact Club, Youth in Government, the Math Club, and a state-winning Envirothon team. He was a member of Temple B’nai Israel. He received the Converse College Merit Music Scholarship three years running and mentorship awards from Lockwood Greene, CH2M Hill, and Orthopedic Association.
