Alexander Freedman achieves rank of Eagle Scout
Alexander Myles Freedman, 17, son of Arthur and Mary Freedman of Spartanburg, recently achieved the rank of Eagle Scout.
He is a member of the Church of the Advent Scout Troop No. 1.
Freedman is a student at Spartanburg Day School, where he is a member of the Cross Country Team, Track Team, Interact Club, Enviorthon State Winner, Youth in Government, Math Club, Founder of the Chess Club and play the tenor saxophone in the band.
He is a member of Temple B’Nai Israel.
Freeman has also been awarded the Converse College Merit Music Scholarship for the past three years, and has received mentorship awards from Lockwood Greene, CHM2 Hill and Orthopedic Association.
