Griffin Achieves Rank of Eagle Scout

Thomas Scott Griffin Jr., 16, son of Scott and Suzannah Griffin of Spartanburg, recently achieved the rank of Eagle Scout. He is a member of The Episcopal Church of the Advent Scout Troop No. 1.

Griffin is a student at Spartanburg Day School, where he is a member of the Interact Club, Cross Country Team and the Tennis Team.

He is a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church.

For his Eagle Scout Project, he built and cemented six benches into the ground around the primitive camp sites at Camp Croft State Park. He is also a member of the Order of the Arrow.
