Wakefield Achieves Rank of Eagle Scout
William Walker Wakefield, 15, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Townsend Wakefield of Spartanburg, recently achieved the rank of Eagle Scout. He is a member of the Episcopal Church of the Advent Scout Troop No. 1.
Wakefield is a student at Spartanburg High School, where he is a member of the Lacrosse team.
He is a member of the Episcopal Church of the Advent, where he is involved with Acolyte, basketball, Youth Pilgrimage to Alaska in June 2014 and the Youth Group.
For his Eagle Scout Project, Wakefield built benches for the Spartanburg Day School tennis courts.
