We have an exciting trip planned to Georgetown! We will take in a guided tour of the Tom Yawkey Wildlife Preserve led by the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources. The Preserve is a 24,000 acre South Carolina treasure that was donated to the State by the Yawkey family who used it as a vacation home. The preserve consists of North Island, South Island and Cat Island.  We will also visit the Georgetown Wooden Boat Show that is held on Front Street in the fishing village of Georgetown.

Since this trip is water related, first year scouts will need to be accompanied by a father or assigned male guardian at least during the day on Saturday.
