Good morning from the land of rising and falling waters!
The temperature rose yesterday afternoon! All the boys, big and small, were drenched with perspiration — but the humidity didn’t slow down the good times at Ho Non Wah.
The Woodsmen completed a five mile hike to the Charleston Tea Plantation where they enjoyed a tour and a much welcomed lunch. Each of these boys, and Dr. Hall and Dr. Lawton, walked over 10 miles yesterday.
We all enjoyed a delicious supper of Ho Non Wah barbecue with banana pudding for dessert – and the Trading Post has sold out of ice cream.
The camp hosted an interfaith worship service after dinner at the marsh-front chapel. Troop 1 participated along with many other scouts and leaders.
Several scouts have completed their rifle merit badge, most other scouts will complete their badges today.
