Troops 1 and 2 are joining forces Halloween weekend for an epic road trip to Georgia where we will attend the Great Georgia Air Show by day and discover the Walking Dead by night. The highlight of the Airshow will be appearances by the world famous Blue Angels.
Our home base for the weekend will be BSA Camp Thunder near Molena, Georgia where we will be “cabin camping” much like we know at Ho Non Wah.
There will be a $95 fee which will cover admissions to the Airshow and the Walking Dead, accommodations at Camp Thunder, and all meals from Friday Dinner – Sunday Lunch. Scouts will depart from their respective scout huts Friday afternoon at 4:00 and return Sunday afternoon in the 2-3 range. Scouts will need to bring a water bottle and mess kits with them.
Please register for this trip by Tuesday, October 13th as advance tickets must be purchased for the events.
