Inventing Merit Badge 2013 Presentation
The presentation from this week’s meeting is attached. This badge has a fairly long list of requirements, so don’t worry if you aren’t able to finish it up by the 3rd session on October 29th. The information in the presentation will be helpful in completing some of the workbook questions. For this Tuesday’s meeting, I’d really like for everyone to focus on completing # 2b and 6a in the workbook. The rest of the items can be done as you find time.
For this coming Tuesday’s meeting, Mr. Steve Fowler from Fowler Associates, Inc. will be joining us to talk about his experience in the world of inventing. Mr. Fowler, who holds several patents, is an electrical engineer and inventor whose work in the field of electrostatics has been featured on several television shows. Mr. Fowler will be prepared to answer your questions about inventing, and for those of you who have come up with a idea for an invention (6a in the workbook), he will hopefully have some time to give you feedback on your idea. I know I can count on you to give Mr. Fowler your undivided attention and that you will have lots of great questions for him.
