Dear Mom and Dad,

What a day – this place is awesome!

I have never had a bus ride that fun.  We played cards to pass the miles and sang Mr. Satterfield’s favorite song – 99 bottles of milk on the wall!

Troop 1 is ready to return to New Shirmer at Camp Ho Non Wah on Wadmalaw Island!
June 12-18, 2022 (Sunday – Saturday)

I can’t believe that this week is almost over. We finished all of our merit badges today, and I think everyone completed all of their classes. Mr. Satterfield said he can’t believe it, and he is looking forward to getting our report cards before we leave.

Dear Mom and Dad,
Can you believe I have now been gone five nights!!  I just want to thank you for trusting me to go so far from home on my own this week.

Dear Mom and Dad,
I can’t believe that the week is halfway over. Sunday night it felt like this time would never come and now I wish it was Sunday night again!

Dear Mom and Dad,

Is it too early to sign me up for camp next year? We are having the best time and learning so much about the outdoors, hiking in the woods, poison ivy (I don’t itch anymore) and knives in our Woodsman class.
